Welcome to Moonfleet ~ The Band website. We are a 6/7 piece group of talented musicians from Weymouth and the surrounding areas, actually not far from Moonfleet.
We play an eclectic selection of Music from Folk, Rock and Traditional accompanied by Guitars, Banjo, Violin, Accordion and Bass mixed in with plenty of Harmony Vocals.
Sorry we are SOLD OUT for spaces for the evening but you may be able to reserve a seat.
On Friday 24th MarchMoonfleet will be appearing at the Old Town Hall in Weymouth for a fundraising together with Paul Openshaw. It will be a fun evening and there are limited seating. Donations to the 2 causes we have chosen can be paid here with PayPal by card or direct in Paypal if you have an account. We hope to raise money for the Old Town Hall and the Wessex Folk Festival. There will be a Bar and Raffle and a Fun evening!
Moonfleet appeared at the Bere Regis Folk Club at the Drax Arms, Bere Regis on Tuesday 31st January 2023 and it was great evening with a full house. The evening started with the entertaining Al Whittle and MelCoDa The Folk Night is highly recommended with events run by Pip Evans / Paul Openshaw and the team.
