Festival vibes without the crowds!
The Osmington Society is delighted to invite you to Music on the Green on Saturday 5th September, from 4.00 pm to 8.00 pm, on the Parish Green.
Join us for a toe-tapping, relaxing late summer afternoon filled with live music, good company and a wonderful community atmosphere.
Bring your picnic, favourite tipple, picnic table or blanket, and don’t forget your dancing shoes. We’ll have plenty of hay bales scattered around the Green for relaxed festival-style seating, while our licensed bar will be serving ales, wine, Prosecco, Pimm’s and soft drinks throughout the afternoon.

🎵 Green River Soul
Delivering an infectious mix of soul, blues, funk, West Coast folk and disco, Green River Soul are guaranteed to get the party started. We’re especially proud that the band features one of our own parishioners, Jess Platt (Jess Perks).
🎸 Moonfleet the Band
Fresh from the Wessex Folk Festival, Moonfleet blend folk, rock and much-loved classicswith outstanding musicianship, great vocals and plenty of fun. Expect singalongs, dancing and a superb festival atmosphere.
🎹 Ed Hintz
Another talented member of our village, Ed has performed professionally across Europe and North Africa and has spent many years inspiring young musicians as a teacher. Now enjoying more intimate performances, we’re delighted to welcome him to the Music on the Green stage.
